One of the major roles schools play is to help prepare students to be positive, contributing members of our society. Positive, contributing members of our society in the future may have to engage in five or more careers during their lifetimes. This infers that to be successful in the future you will need a wide variety of skills and experiences and be able to learn, unlearn and re-learn or more simply be flexible and well rounded individuals.

NO PARKING ZONE AT HPSS
Walking to and from school is encouraged. When it is necessary to drop off and pick up your child, please do so at the south end of the Annex parallel to Stave Lake Road or on Prentis Avenue. A NO PARKING zone has been recently added to the road in front of the main entrance in order to ensure safety of students and to provide complete access to parking spaces for those with a parking permit for people with disabilities. You can help improve the flow of traffic by entering the parking lot from the south and leaving at the east entrance so vehicles can then access Stave Lake Road via traffic lights and leave the south entrance for school buses only. The parking lot speed is 15km/hr. Thank you for your support.
